László Benkő was born in Szombathely in 1952 and went to school there as well. He graduated from military college and entered an armed career, while he graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at ELTE and worked in adult education.
When he was young, László Passuth and E. Hemingway had the greatest influence on him. When he was 14-15, he started writing novels and novels only from the '80s. Nowadays he deals with writing for 8-12 hours a day.
Member of the Hungarian Writer's Federation. A total of 72 volumes have been published so far, a political thriller outside the historical novels, last century's war story, dog history and twenty lectures.
He examines history in a wide spectrum, not only and specifically about the Hungarian aspects, but also mainly about Europe, but also the history of the world.
Its aim is to make the reader feel comfortable in the first place, as he enters another world on the wings of the thoughts contained in the book, and if he is touched by something, he may even look at it in the scientific literature, but never have to say, "that's not quite the case in the book, but it's just a novel."
He is a humanist to the point of writing, an endless and ever-changing virtual journey. He admits that it is not necessary to transcend moral standards that have been and continue to be condemned in a given historical age, but still continue to be repeated by mankind.
His latest volume, the Sunbird above Italy - can be preordered from Etelköz to the battle of Brenta.
